1. it is a powder that is pressed, so it's a hard powder... like most eye shadows.





2. I really like Maybelline. Almay also makes products of good quality. Physician's Formula as well.





3. If you have oily skin, you can use a dry compact foundation, but beware that if the oil gets onto the compact, it could ruin your make-up. Maybelline makes a great mousse foundation that would well. The mineral foundation is great too.


All powder foundations are best for normal skin conditions, and may be the best choice between the liquid and powder. My favorite is the mousse though.





4. coverage? Especially with a powder, you will want to put a facial moisturizer on first. You will feel better with the make-up on and it will protect your skin. Cover lightly around nose and lightly or none around your eyes. To help match your face, you can (but don't have to) cover some of your neck too.What is a compact foundation ?
its powder foundation, covergirl for my skin type, and i have soft skin on my face so yea but it covers blemishes and blends VERY well.
