then i tell them its compact, not really foundation. and there
like ohhhh. then i guess it's okay..
then other ppl say it the other way aroundd.
i'm confused. help? Are foundation and compact the same thing?
Foundation comes in compact (powder) and liquid form. So basically it's the same thing just in different forms. Generally, depending on your skin type, u choose either or. So if ur skin type is oil, compact form is better as it will last longer. And if ur skin is dry, liquid form is better as it adheres to ur face better n wont show as much as powder which will look dry.
Choose a foundation that doent clog pores and is oil free. Always check labels. Check out for words like non comedogenic which means does not clog pores.
Keep good hygenie habits. For example, regularly change the sponge u use to apply the foundation. Regularly wash the brush u use, best once a week.
And also use a good make up remover so as to make sure all foundation is removed. Also dont use foundation 24/7, allow ur skin to breath.
Hope this helps! :DAre foundation and compact the same thing?
It all depends on your skin type and the makeup-foundation is usually liquid as oppossed to compact being compacted powder-some can clog your skin-
Compact what? There are compact foundations and compact powders. Compact foundation is still foundation. Compact powders aren't as heavy and mainly blot shine without providing a lot of coverage.
foundation is liquid make-up, and compact is pressed powder. it sounds like the people who said it was bad for your skin didnt know what they were talking about because how would going to foundation to compact make a difference. alot of people say foundation/compact/whatever-you-want-to-鈥?is bad for your skin, but its different for everyone, not everyone is the same, it works fine for me
Foundation isn't really bad for ur skin if U use the right kind! And a compact is like...a powder that U put over the foundation 2 keep it in place. Wear foundation with powder over it! It makes it look alot better and it stays alot longer!
